Guruji's Teachings - 2
Proper Worship: God says: Everything in the world, this nature is created for the pleasure of man, and there is no need to offer things in nature back to him during worship. He does not desire such offering. What HE needs is a peaceful mind and a sincere prayer. He never waits for sacrifices, food offerings (prasad), Aartis (lights). He wants everyone to surrender their Atma to HIM in the sincere worship.
Devotees should gives up feelings like me, mine and think that there is no difference between God and devotee. Devotees should have devotion of a son towards a Father, a daughter to a father. Devotee should surrender his atma and pray to God. God protects such devotees and shows proof of his constant support.
A wife who is separated from her husband will think of him constantly even while enjoying comforts. In similar manner whoever thinks of God every second of day even while going through daily routine, God protects them like a father and gives them whatever is necessary and takes care of them. Once God starts loving a devotee he will keep constant company with the devotee and cannot bear separation from devotee.
Whoever keeps talking to God at every moment of life, who surrenders their atma, who keeps repeating 'Rama Nama' (God's Name) like breathing, God gives them the divine eye and also give a darshan. It is possible to see God for every human being and by taking guidance from a Satguru this becomes easier.
God reminds human beings about his presence three times: when one's eye sight becomes feeble, when one's teeth start falling, when one's hair starts turning white so that they will remember him and start their spiritual journey with help of a Satguru. There is no distinction of case, religion, color, gender for taking name of God.
While earning 100 rupees (Indian currency) it is easier to save 10 rupees. If the earnings are 10 rupees it is difficult to save even 1 rupee. Spiritual journey is not something one takes up after becoming old but something that should start from young age. If done so, these earnings increase gradually and help not only now but for ages and generations to come.
Sugar is necessary for making a sweet. But only when it is added in appropriate quantities, the sweet can be eaten. Similarly man should pursue his desires (Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Mada, Matsarya) in right quantities and should not indulge excessively in any of them. He should take the path shown by a Satguru. One should lead life with Righteously earned money with Righteous desires. Such devotees will attain liberation.
Our body is the chariot guided by mind as Charioteer and desires as horses. Our body goes in the direction in which we guide one of the horses. It is natural for humans to have desires. But to maintain a right proportion of the desires is divinity. One who does so will be able to gain entry to God's house though living an ordinary life and be proud of the same. If one gets dragged by the desires and leads unrighteous life, though he may live a rich life on earth, later he will stand before God in unkempt clothes, body with dirty smell and uncut beard and ask for pardon. So one should not focus on material well being and forget God now, but lead a life by taking God's name every second of his life just like breathing. God gives such a devotee all powers. Just as sun starts with mild heat in the morning and gradually increases intensity, God will grant his grace in small ways and gradually bless the devotee by granting his vision.
