Guruji's Teachings - 1
The following are the teachings from Guruji. All these teachings are told by Guruji on various occasions. I am able to recollect them and write them down for benefit of everyone.
Bhagavan means: Bhaga means destination and also means birth place.
Bhagavan means birth place for all creation (which is the destination). One who does this creation is Bhagavan.
As water takes form of a vessel depending on the vessel it is poured into, man can see God in any form he wishes. But God is form of light. When man thirsts for God, by drinking 'Rama Nama' water can get grace of God which is sweet as honey.
When a man is hungry, the stomach does not know about the hunger, only the mind knows about it. In the same way, God's grace is known by Atma (soul). A hungry stomach can grasp a lot of food, but our mouth allows a little food each time and fills the stomach. In the same way, we can only taste God's grace only in small steps and finally see God.
Though there are lot of ways to gain Grace of God, with help of a Satguru in form of his grace, his guidance one can reach God with lesser effort and in lesser time.
In this current age, human beings pray for deliverance from day to day problems. People are selfish and pray for self, their family and also with fear of God in their prayers. Some people pray to God only in times of difficulty.
It is rare to see people who
Though many people desire to see God, it is very difficult. To extract butter out of milk, one needs make yogurt (curd) out of milk by adding milk and then churn it to extract butter. In the same manner, by adding divine name to milk of mind and use Guru's grace as churning device then only it is possible to see God.
We cannot see Sun (who is praised as pratyaksha narayana) with naked eye. But we can see sunlight. Is it possible to see God many times brighter than Sun? But if we keep praying to HIM, keep remembering him every day, we will be able to see his grace just like the way we are able to see sunlight. According to God, humans are going away from HIM by selfishness, narrow minded ness and indulging in sins.
According to HIM: Even now whoever lives with modesty, lives with righteousness, has only righteous desires (Dharma, Artha, Kama) will surely gain moksha. He will grant them the divine eye needed to see God and give darshan in the form in which the devotee wishes.
Aspirants who want to see God, who want his grace, pray him in a form of their liking and with help of a Satguru, dedicate his mind, voice, actions in prayer and dedicate his soul to HIM. God does not desire Homas, flowers, offerings or sacrifices. He just wants aspirants to have complete trust in HIM and surrender soul to him.
