Proof God Exists and ways to experience them (Part -1 )

A few years back someone asked what is that thing that reminds you of God in your daily life. I have been so immersed in living life that I hardly pay attention to things around me which will make me feel glad and realize that God exists. Then I thought over it for sometime and then replied. At that time I was staying in Chennai (Madras). I told the following.

"Every day when I start work in the morning, I see a small tree in our apartment complex. I don't exactly know name of the tree, but its leaves open during day time and close at sunset. Almost every day whenever I am leaving I take a look at it and see its leaves open and by the time I come back from office I see all its leaves closed. This mini wonder makes me realize that there are many more wonders of God which we are not conscious of whereas God is trying to show his power and presence throughout the day. "

Once I said that I was glad. I was glad that I recognized wonderful creation of God and praised him. I was glad that I was at least conscious of his creation. From that time I wanted to take time and write a list of things which constantly remind me of God and share them with others. It is not going to be an easy job. When the world we live in is created by HIM and every small object is his creation, how I can ever complete this job of praising the Lord for all the things he gave us. 

This will be an ongoing effort. I will do it as and when possible. I plan to list things I notice and make me praise the lord again and again in our normal life. The world is the temple. We don't need to go to a temple to praise him. Just notice things around us which remind us his glory and praise him. All of them are opportunities to us to offer our worship to Him. 

Universe

Look above at the sky. What do you see? A vast universe with lot of secrets hidden in it. No one has explored the universe and God is revealing the universe little by little by giving us capability to explore the stars through science. Whenever I look at the night stars or the moon that is shining bright it reminds me of the vast universe and greatness of Lord in creating such a vast universe. To construct even a small item (like a house) takes enormous effort from us. How much powerful is God who created the entire universe? 

Rotating Earth

As stated in Gayatri Mantra: The planets are rotating at great speeds making a celestial noise. But he has shielded us from feeling effects of it. If you sit in roller coaster and go for a ride (or a merry go round) you feel dizzy. The earth is rotating at a speed which is many times more than the roller coaster. Even then we don't feel dizzy? What a strange phenomena? We don't feel the world moving but still it is fact.  

Variety of Life

I have watched "Discovery Channel" many times, browsed through "National Geographic" and recently went through some books on Animals. Every time I see new species which I am not aware of. God has created so much variety of life that it is wonderful. No one knows exact count of species that exist in the world. And he gave each creature a special place for them and gave some unique attributes them. Every time I realize this, I bow to him and say in mind "Great is the Lord who created such a wonderful world". Polar bears can live in cold places and they are equipped with special fur. When I went to aquarium couple of years back I saw variety of fish and some which can live only at the bottom of ocean under tremendous pressure of water.  I see the birds in the sky always busy and going from tree to tree. Look at the variety of species in jungles. It goes on and on. Animals come in all shapes and sizes. From the Blue Whale to tiny ant it is a "wonderful world". 

Human Body

Yet another great creation of God which we carry around with us every day is our human body. This great machine has so much complex parts hidden in it that we human's can never understand how this machine operates completely. We humans have been able to create so many materials plastic, synthetic and so on but great is the material with which our body is made. Our skin is sensitive to touch and heat. Our basic senses of vision, smell, taste, hearing and touch are themselves unique. Our heart is a machine that runs efficiently 24 hours a day and never talks of rest till we die. What more can be a more wonderful reminder of God's greatness than our body. Of course we are reminded of our body parts only when there is trouble (like a pain) till that time we are not even aware of them and take them for granted. It is gift of God to us.  Scriptures say Human body is the temple where our soul resides and hence we should take care of keeping our body clean and pure. Glory to the Lord who gifted each of us a unique body. And our body is not like a machine which remains without growth. Every day our body is changing. It grows over years, it changes shape. Our blood is getting purified and purged with every second through the heart. There are wonderful processes happening in our body. He made the body self sufficient. We feed food to the body and it converts the food into energy that sustains us. I can go on.
